Goin's on... 18/11/'07

I'm amazed it's been so long since my last post.

Have been crazy busy with prepping "Free Style" - the motocross flick, conceptualizing for my next film (deets to come once confirmed) and nearing the end of initial development on my incredible website project.

In this time, I have managed a few moments of fun and thought I'd share a few pics.

The first two are from Halloween, where Krista and I hit the town (Vancouver), checking in the "Parade of Lost Souls" on commercial drive (pretty cool), a couple great parties (huge shout out to Ide for her stellar tunes, crowd & hospitality) and also a couple of clubs. Arrived back home at 5am, 'nuff said...

The next pic is from a relatively calm, albeit very wet area on the path from a hike I did last weekend. I climbed the "Chief", which is about an hour north of the city - gotta say, I was kinda shocked. Have never seen it like this. I was there on the tail end of a huge rain/wind storm and the trail, which I've hiked year-round, was a virtual waterfall. The small creek with the languid pools beside the path was a raging torrent and the huge trees overhead were swaying dangerously and dropping huge branches onto the forest floor. Peeerfect for hiking...

It was pretty cool, have to say - felt like being in a very theatrical version of a storm. If I ran into some crazy medieval witch, I wouldn't have been surprised...

On the way home, the clouds parted and I drove in the most beautiful sunshine. Unfortunately, so did thousands of other long-weekend adventurers. I hit a few traffic jams, but as you can see, the scenery made up for the stop and go flow.







These next three weeks will be especially busy for me, but I'll try and write in here whenever I can. Wherever you are, I hope your November is wonderful and the upcoming holiday season will be great for you.
